Terms of Service

Effective date: May 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using LifeSync Displays ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Brett Muller ("we", "us"). These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and us.

2. Description of Service

LifeSync Displays provides a personalized household dashboard displayed on in-home screens. The Service integrates with Google and iCloud to show calendars, email summaries, tasks, photos, weather, and other information relevant to your household.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of your household.

4. Subscription and Payment

The Service is available on a monthly subscription at $30/month, or an annual subscription at $299/year (billed annually).
A one-time hardware installation fee of $299 applies for in-home device setup.
Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal linked in your dashboard settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Account and Device Access

Your dashboard is tied to a specific display device provisioned for your household. You are responsible for:

Keeping your Google and iCloud credentials secure.
Not sharing your device access key with unauthorized parties.
Notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission.
Introduce malware or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Google and Apple (iCloud) APIs. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of those third-party services.

8. Availability and Support

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We provide support via email at brett@lifesyncdisplays.com. Response times may vary. We reserve the right to perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

Your device access will be revoked.
Your stored data will be deleted within 30 days.
No refund will be issued for the remainder of the billing period.

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and emailing brett@lifesyncdisplays.com.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA DISPLAYED WILL BE ACCURATE AT ALL TIMES. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Texas.
